Kurt is passionate about helping homebuyers purchase a new home, whether it’s their first or their fifth. He loves that he can channel his enthusiasm for purchasing into work that can directly benefit potential borrowers. He enjoys the satisfaction it brings to clients—and their entire families.
“I was able to help a young couple get into their house at the beginning of 2010 and the entire family was at the closing,” Kurt says. “When they finished signing their closing documents, their two children both gave me a hug.”
For Kurt, customer service is the backbone of his business. “I am always available to answer any questions,” he says. “And I’m resourceful enough to seek out the right answer if I have never encountered the question before in my experience.”
He also counts on his innovativeness. “Creativity also plays a major role in finding the right loan for the right customer, and I excel in putting the borrower's character into the loan to get them qualified.”
That means that with FFS, you’re more than a credit score and a set of numbers. “We have the ability to put the character of the person into the loan and fund it directly, instead of relying on an automated system like many other companies do,” Kurt says.
Still, Kurt encourages clients to decide on the right loan program for them and to lock in the interest rate as soon as possible. “Often during the shopping process, we can get confused by all of the issues related to the loan and by the time a decision is reached that interest rate is no longer available.” Yet, he re-assures clients, “The interest rate does not drastically affect the amount of your monthly payment, and it is dependent on market conditions outside of my control.”
