Roy Clennan, founder and president of Freedom Financial Services, moved to Colorado Springs in 1995, following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force.
Since then, he has become one of the area’s most recognized mortgage, refinance and debt consolidation strategists. The founder of Freedom Financial Services in 1997, a spin-off of Cornerstone Financial Group, Clennan currently has offices in Colorado, California, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
Clennan understands the importance of saving and the many benefits that come with it. He believes there is still wealth to be made through real estate, but only with accountability and the right choice of mortgage loan.
“I wouldn’t have to make one more loan in my lifetime,” he says, “but I am on a mission to educate consumers on the importance of understanding how critical the right loan can be."
Having grown up in Colorado Springs, Jeremy and his wife Tonya have seen the amazing growth of our community first hand. Robert was one of the first loan officers to join the Freedom Financial Services team when it first opened in 1996 and has not looked back since. Always moving forward, Robert has served as a team leader and vice president in addition to being a top producer four years in a row.
Sonia Medina joined Freedom Financial Services' Pueblo team as the Branch Manager. As a native of Pueblo, she has witnessed first hand how the dynamic markets and community growth can change mortgage lending. She is proud of her continuing contribution to Pueblo's positive growth. Sonia is married and the mother of an eight year old daughter and a very active three year old boy.
Jim is a Colorado Springs native and has been involved in business and finance for nearly forty years. He has watched the city grow from a small town to what it is today. He loves to fish and camp, which works out well considering he lives in Colorado. Jim feels that he was born to work in this industry, as he loves working with people and helping them find solutions to their financial challenges. He believes that it is very rewarding watching people at the closing table and seeing the relief on their faces knowing that they will be able to sleep at night. This is why he works with Freedom Financial Services.
Tandi grew up on a cattle ranch in the San Luis Valley. She is a single mother with a son in college and knows first hand how important it is to trust local businesses in the community. But when she is watching her son play football for Adams State, Tandi looks out at the field with pride and will tell you "No regrets."
Mark Towner was born and raised in Grand Junction and attended Grand Junction High School. Mark joined Freedom Financial Services in 2002 after graduating from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, and he quickly became a top producer. Mark has served as Team Chief, Assistant Manager, and Assistant VP over the past 8 years, and has helped thousands of families in Colorado purchase their dream home and achieve financial freedom through debt consolidation or home loan refinancing. After 8 years in Colorado Springs, Mark is excited to return to Grand Junction, where his family still resides, to open the new Freedom Financial Services office.
